“Don’t let negativity or fear stand in the way of your dreams”
Sydnee Jensen
Muscle Activation Technique, Licensed Athletic Trainer, Certified Athletic Trainer
Born in Wyoming, Sydnee Jensen is excited to be back in her home state after earning her bachelor of exercise science, 2020 and Master of Athletic Training, 2022 from Manchester University, located in northeast Indiana. During her undergrad time at Manchester, she competed as a college athlete in soccer. While earning her master's degree, she worked with a broad spectrum of athletes- from high school to D3 and NAIA college athletes.
Sydnee became interested in the profession of athletic training while in high school. Her high school athletic trainer helped her through multiple injuries and later became her mentor. Sydnee hopes to impact the lives of her patients in a similar way and seeing them as more than who they are in athletics or their injury, but as a whole person with unique interests. Sydnee also hopes that her experience as a college athlete brings dimension and a different perspective to care as she strives to provide the quality of care that she wanted as an athlete.
Sydnee believes there is something new to learn every day. The mindset of always learning will help her grow and develop as an athletic trainer.
Sydnee is excited to be back in Wyoming so she can enjoy easy access to great hiking, camping, and fishing. Sydnee looks forward to getting involved with the community of Gillette and growing as a professional with the team at GPT.
