Looking Forward and Behind - The Year 2020

2020 was a game changer!

The team at Apex Athletic Performance wants to say thank you to each and every individual whose lives we touched in 2020. It was your trust in our expert care that helped us achieve our most successful year to date. Here at APEX we understand you have a choice. We value every client, we welcome you to our family of dedicated, highly qualified trained professionals, and appreciate your support as we continue to grow. Providing services that you, this great community, want and at an expert level, is something you can expect.

This is the first excerpt in a three-part series. In Part 1 I will reflect on 2020 and its highlights. Part 2 I will discuss why good is the enemy of great and how that lil' ditty has helped us to stay motivated and always one step ahead of our competition. Finally, in Part 3, I will reveal the vision for APEX 2021. This will serve as the launchpad for our newest, and dare I say, some of our greatest programs to date. We are super excited about 2021. We are certain you will be as well!

A reflection of the highlights in 2020. APEX spearheaded the "Zen Den" project, bringing together several, like-minded, and generous businesses in our community to bring the employees of CCH a room to relax and recover both mind and body as they provided frontline care during COVID. Our way of showing our sincere appreciation for all their hard efforts and long hours. We are told the Zen Den receives nearly 800 visits per month, well worth the efforts. APEX supported the APEX Kolby Challenge, a series of physical fitness challenges to build moral support, and strength for an incredible young man fighting for his life, not once, but on several occasions. Through perseverance, the inner strength to never give up, and all of your positive support, Kolby is now playing college soccer, fulfilling a childhood dream. He is an awesome young man and we could not be more proud of him. APEX officially opened the APEX recovery lounge, a 1000 square foot room specifically designed to accelerate muscle recovery and enhance athlete/work performance. The first and only muscle recovery lounge in the state and in its first year has received raving reviews, thank you to everyone for making that vision a success.

In 2020 APEX successfully trained hundreds of youth athletes of all ages, to help them achieve higher athletic potential. Just check out our athlete profiles and reviews, they tell their awesome stories of success.

Finally, 2020 welcomed two new members to the APEX team. Christian Galindo LAT, ATC, PES, CES, hails from Kansas and is enjoying his lifestyle here in Gillette. Christian is a well-rounded employee. He can be deployed on the front lines of athletic events and has been successful in providing on the spot emergency medical care and most importantly, on site diagnosis and referral. This is one of his many passions but his goal is to provide the safest environment for competition possible. Christian's love for Athletic Training exploded during his time in professional sports. The profession is changing and he’s here to break down any old stigmas and show why athletic trainers are crucial in health care.

Drayson Hladky is a Gillette native and excited to be back home. He has a sincere passion for extracting the best from those he comes in contact with, both physically and mentally. Exercise science and biomechanics are two areas in which Drayson excels. His love for exercise started when he was young and has only grown stronger. Both of these young men are dedicated, motivated, and excited to help the youth. Check out their bios on our website!
